This page outlines the key terms and conditions for bookings, payments, cancellations, and project delivery. Please review these carefully to ensure a smooth and productive collaboration.

Booking Confirmation

All bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of written confirmation via email. 

For fixed-rate assignments or ongoing projects, a scope of work must be agreed upon prior to starting the work.

A minimum booking of half a day (4 hours) is required for all services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is required for the project, it is the client’s responsibility to notify MelloGraphics / Ashley Pickering and provide the necessary documentation prior to project commencement.

The client is responsible for providing access to necessary systems, tools, or shared folders (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, or other project management platforms) required to complete the project efficiently. Delays caused by lack of access may impact project timelines and deliverables.

Payment Terms

Invoices are issued based on an agreement made with the client prior to project commencement. This can include: A single invoice issued upon project completion. Split invoices divided into stages, such as: Commencement: A deposit or initial payment before work begins. Progress: Payments tied to project milestones or stages. Finalising Project: The remaining balance issued upon project completion.

All invoices must be settled within 30 days of receipt. Payments delayed beyond this period will incur a late fee of 1% per week.

Bank transfer details and credit card payment options are provided in the invoice. All payment fees are the client’s responsibility.

Rates shown are exclusive of GST.

Cancellations

For hourly or day-rate bookings, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the agreed start time to avoid charges.

Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.

Fixed-rate projects cancelled after commencement will be charged for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, plus a cancellation fee of 20% of the remaining balance.

Revisions and Scope Changes

The number of revisions included will be agreed upon during the project scoping phase, based on the available time and project requirements. 

Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges at the agreed hourly rate.

Any changes to deadlines or deliverables must be agreed upon in writing.

Out-of-Hours Work

Work conducted outside of standard business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) is charged at the out-of-hours rate unless agreed otherwise.

Project Delivery

Deliverables will be shared in the agreed formats upon final payment clearance.

MelloGraphics reserves the right to showcase completed work in portfolios or promotional materials unless a written non-disclosure agreement is in place.

Liability

MelloGraphics / Ashley Pickering is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God, emergencies, or client-side delays.

MelloGraphics / Ashley Pickering reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be made available upon request and will be applied to new bookings made after the update.
