Introduction
Tecala is an Australian managed technology services provider, working with mid-market businesses to design, implement, and support their IT infrastructure. They came to BJM Digital needing a website that matched their market position — a business with serious enterprise credentials that was being undersold by an outdated digital presence.
The challenge with a project like Tecala is communicating genuine technical complexity without losing the human side of what they do. IT services can feel cold and abstract — all acronyms and specifications — but Tecala’s real differentiator is the quality of the relationships they build with clients. The site needed to reflect both.
The information architecture was restructured to guide different audience types — IT managers, CFOs, and business owners — toward the information most relevant to them. Service pages were built around business outcomes rather than technical specifications, translating what Tecala does into language that speaks to the people making buying decisions.
A comprehensive design system was built across the full site, ensuring consistency across dozens of page templates while giving the Tecala marketing team the tools to create new content independently without breaking the visual language. Brand application throughout keeps the Tecala identity strong and professional across every section.

Part of my work with BJM Digital
This project was completed during my time at BJM Digital, where I worked as Lead Designer within the in-house team. The client was engaged directly through the agency, and I was responsible for leading the creative direction and design execution.
